Our Little Marlin

Hayden had baseball practice this evening. He wanted to wear his Marlins' jersey that he got for his birthday. So, of course, we obliged! He looked so handsome hanging out on third base. (You know who he was pretending he was! Of course, we have rarely seen that favorite player wearing his pants up like that. I think we combined another favorite player for that part of the uniform)
Coach Mike working with Hayden on his stance and swing.
I took photos of Hayden at his first Fall Ball game which I made him watch before going to practice. The photos showed him dancing around and waving his arms in the outfield. Let's just say they made quite an impression. He wanted to argue at first that they were not him but then when he realized they were (and I asked whether he was a ballerina or a ballplayer) he decided he would do better from here on out. (Now if we could figure a way to have a camera on him at school.....hmmmm)

At practice, he would look over at Harold and me and give us a thumbs up every once in a while just to show that he was paying attention! HA (Of course I got no picture of that because I was required to give a thumbs up back!)
