Ethan's 7th birthday was today. Hayden was out of school for parent / teacher conference so it worked out great. We got to go celebrate Ethan's birthday with him at the park. I cannot tell you how much fun it was.
It is so great to watch your kid hanging out with other precious kids. Hayden just thinks Ethan hung the moon. He loves hanging out with him and doing all the "boy" stuff. They played football, soccer, swang, played on the slides and the other playground equipment. They were some pooped puppies by the end of the afternoon.
Ms. Michelle brought pizza and a Razorback cupcake cake. (YUMMY). The dads showed up for a bit at lunch so it was just a great family day.
Of course, my buddy Miss Scarlett was there. She is absolutely adorable. Her buddy Carly was there and they got down and dirty just like the boys. In fact, I think they may have played harder than the boys sometimes.
Michelle and I got to visit and just enjoy watching the kids.
What would a day at the park be unless someone had a skinned knee or fell down? This is Mrs. Michelle helping Carly see taht she is okay. Mrs. Michelle had LOTS of help!
Maybe Hayden was giving Ethan his birthday kiss? Nah, he saw a Trav act like this to another Trav at picture day so well you know....he thinks he is one of them.

It may have been Ethan's birthday but I think Hayden felt like he got the biggest prize by just getting to hang out and play with his best bud!
