Poppaw was here this afternoon and evening. There are NO words to describe how much Hayden loves Poppaw. (In fact, ALL of Poppaw's grands think he is GRAND).
Poppaw going to get a foul ball. He is the ONLY person Hayden would let wear his special glove!!!
Poppaw and Hayden went with Harold to the ballfield today to get in some practice hitting and fielding. Hayden loves being out there with Poppaw. There is just nothing like it.
Apparently talking to the bat helps some times.......
I got a kick listening to them and watching the interaction. Hayden would get so frustrated when Poppaw would have him doing the same thing over and over again but everytime he acted out that frustration Poppaw just dug in a little more and had Hayden practicing a little more. :-) There is no doubt that they are related.
After practice, Poppaw told Hayden if he kept him out there from daylight to dark Poppaw thought Hayden would have it all down just right. Guess what Hayden's reply was? "Okay, so when are we going to do that?" HAHA
They snuggled in tonight after supper and my guess is Hayden got the best night's sleep he has had in a LONG time and Poppaw got no sleep.
Freezing time? Yep, you bet...if I could...I would.
