(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

How exactly can two years have passed since I took these photos of our sweet son? Cherish EVERY moment with those you love -- time just keeps moving -- my friends.

Another Absolutely Beautiful Sunday!

Hayden and I enjoyed another absolutely perfect Sunday. We went to church and Sunday School and then headed to the library. This time we went out and I took photos of my favorite little fella in the garden at the library. It was beautiful and I had a ton of fun taking photos! Can you tell?

Hayden even tried rolling down one of the inclines. He was not totally sure of doing so...might have had something to do with the concrete sidewalk at the bottom....hmmmmm

All pooped out......

Good Friends, Loads of Fun

Hayden and I had the best time Friday and Saturday. We went to Branson with Ms. Michelle and Ethan and Scarlett. Hayden was absolutely thrilled. I loved it too!!

We took the kids to an indoor waterpark at a hotel in Branson. It was awesome. It was cold outside but 82 degrees inside the park. The kids played for over 4 hours.

Michelle and I hung out in the two hot tubs for most of the time too. We did venture to the lazy river but did NOT hang out under the pouring out bucket of water. Now, when that bell rang, those boys came running to get under it and get soaked.

It is an awesome place to take the kids during the winter when they cannot get outside as much. This way they can swim and play and not think about how cold it is. (until they leave the park and they have only their bathing suits, towels and no shoes....what kind of moms would let that happen? HA)
On Saturday we went and had breakfast at a wonderful buffet that Ms. Michelle told us about. The food was great and the kids enjoyed it very much including going outside and sitting on a metal swing in 38 degree weather. Let's just say those were some cold behinds!
Miss Scarlett just worked on getting tickets for prizes at the gameroom and being adorable as usual.Maybe next time, we will invite the hubbies to go along....then maybe Ms. Michelle and I will sneak off to do some shopping.

A Quiet Thursday

Today was a very quiet Thursday. It has been so nice. As the verse says (or close to) -- "This is the day the Lord has made, be glad and rejoice in it." We have rejoiced in just being us and enjoying quiet time.
Hayden was out of school. Harold went to Camden to check on the house there and to clean up in the yard (except he got there to find out South Arkansas has gotten much more rain than we thought....)
Hayden played in his playroom all day. (at least he kinda picked up)
He has read several books too. We ventured out to the library and got more books and that is basically all we have done today. The television has not come on at all today. I have had Radio Disney on for Hayden to listen to while he plays. Since early this morning, he has not even asked to have the television on and I am so liking that and am SO PROUD of him for not having a fit about it. (of course when he snuck on the computer he tried to go watch a video and I reminded him no tv so he started playing a game)He is STILL thinking about what he might like for supper. :-) Hope you all had a great Thursday too.
